One of the things I would like to do, if I can, is to present a history programme, to help change people's preconceptions of disability over the years. There is a lack of inclusion of disabled people in the media, TV and film and I firmly believe that the media should reflect the society in which we live. I have been researching how the Tudors treated people with disabilities and there would seem to be two different positions. On the one side, fear and religious superstition, whereas the Royal Tudors cherished and honoured disabled people. I would love to share this research to help people appreciate what life was like historically, for those who were disabled.
