Losing my much loved mum and going into lockdown had a traumatic impact on my mental health. I felt crushed, isolated and hit rock bottom and in my darkest moments I even questioned my existence. Looking back, thinking about what I would say to myself then, I would say you can get through this, things do get better, people do care about you and you are not alone. Now I am trying to be the best version of myself that I can be and I encourage you to do the same.
